The Consumer Product lawyers at Hiden, Rott & Oertle , LLP are investigating a recent Vitamix Container Blade Recall involving 3 of its blender models:
* The Vitamix 7500TM
* The Professional SeriesTM750®
* The Professional SeriesTM300®
If you own one of the above products, your container may be included in this recall. The container affected is a “64-ounce Low-Profile” container with blade part number: 103208 A, and with a date of manufacture that is before August of 2013.
According to Vitamix,”…A potential safety concern has been identified with the blades used in (these) specific container(s).”
You can quickly check if your product has been affected by looking at the blade in the container.
Then go to the Vitamix Container Blade Recall page and type in the 18-digit serial number, which is located on the bottom of the blender. Next, you will click which store you purchased your product at; and then click the “Check Recall Status” button.
If your product has been affected by this recall, Vitamix advises it will replace the blade in your container with an updated design. This could possibly mean that they will send you the blade and you will be required to remove the defective one and replace it with the updated design.
