Experience
Sabrina A. Stuart, is an Associate at Hiden, Rott & Oertle, LLP, and works in the Firm’s San Diego office with experience in family law matters.

Ms. Stuart’s practice focuses on multiple areas of family law, including: dissolution, legal separation, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, domestic violence restraining orders, paternity, modifications, bifurcation of marital status, enforcement of court orders, marital settlement agreements, and more.

In addition to family law, Ms. Stuart also practices in the areas of civil litigation, workers' compensation and personal injury.

Ms. Stuart also has training in alternative dispute resolution. As a competing member of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, Ms. Stuart traveled all over the country and abroad to compete in American Bar Association negotiation competitions. Also, Ms. Stuart attended the Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution for mediation training.

While in law school at Thomas Jefferson, Ms. Stuart received several honors, including:

• National Dean’s List;

• Honor Roll;

• Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, Community Property;

• CALI Excellence for the Future Award, Community Property;

• Jefferson Medal: Community Property;

• LSAT Scholarship; and

• Pro Bono Honors

In addition to her attendance at Thomas Jefferson, Ms. Stuart attended Hofstra University School of Law in Nice, France and studied Comparative Constitutional Law under Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

Throughout her law school career, Ms. Stuart dedicated herself to participating in pro bono work, completing over 225 hours of pro bono work with organizations such as: San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP), Domestic Violence Clinic; San Diego Teen Court; San Diego County Bar, Children at Risk Committee. For her work with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Domestic Violence Clinic, Ms. Stuart received the Distinguished Service Award from SDVLP and the Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Award from the California State Bar.

Ms. Stuart received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies, with a concentration in Public Relations from California State University, Sacramento. Ms. Stuart graduated from CSUS with Departmental Honors and was a member of the Epsilon Phi, Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta: Communication Honor Society.
