Linda C. Schumacher is affiliated with HR&O as an “Of Counsel” member of the Firm’s Wills & Trusts’ Department.  Through this affiliation, Linda has prepared living trusts for hundreds of Teachers, Plumbers & Pipefitters, United Food & Commercial Workers’, Iron Workers, Teamsters, County and City of San Diego Employees, Communications Workers of America, and members of countless other unions over the past decade.

Since the beginning, Linda has maintained a personal touch with her clients.  Quite simply put, Linda’s clients are considered friends.  Each and every client receives an extremely high-quality customized estate plan, which is specifically designed to meet his/her needs.

Linda’s practice is limited to estate planning, trust and probate administration, estate and gift taxation, guardianship and conversatorship law.

On the rare occasion that Linda’s clients’ require legal advice, which is outside the scope of her practice, an appropriate list of affiliate counsels are provided, who also share the HR&O philosophy of providing the highest caliber of legal services at a reasonable cost.

While attending law school at night, in the 1980’s, Linda worked full-time as a paralegal in the “Tax & Trusts Department” of San Diego’s largest law firm.  After law school, Linda spent several years working for large Downtown firms, always focusing her practice on estate planning, probate, and estate and gift taxation.  As a new mother, in 1997, Linda left the large Downtown firm to start her own practice.  Shortly thereafter, she was elected by her colleagues to Chair the Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.  Linda has made countless radio appearances on the "Financial Forum," and is a regular speaker at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar's "Transition" Program. 

For more than a decade, Linda has been providing high-quality estate planning with a personal touch.
